Fairport Village Tax Information – Street Level

By invoking the Elector-Initiated Village Reorganization effort, per NYS GRACE Act guidelines, huge tax savings are now within taxpayers reach.

The elimination of VILLAGE TAXES is highlighted in the red column.

Property taxes are analyzed  by individual residencies street by street.

Tax paid in 2004 and in 2019 are compared and the percentage increase over 15 years is calculated. That increase rate is projected out to 2030.

The recent school budget of $65,000,000 has not been added to these figures.

The data has been compiled from public records at http://www.monroecountytax.org

Information provided in this post has been compiled by the tireless efforts of Mike Caswell. Fairport Residents could help his efforts by checking his figures and modifying as needed.

Over-Taxation is NY State’s number one problem. Local Village Government, and the tax dollars collected to support that government, have been identified as redundant, unecessary, and adding to the high tax issues.

NY Lawmakers gave us a way, the citizens of those villages, to take control and end this unfair Village Taxation on a select group of people in NY Towns & Counties. The GRACE Act fully funds Vilage Reorganization plans and also offers financial support to towns that have dissolved villages.

It’s time to act, if you are tired of high Village taxes, help reorganization in your own town or village. Time for complaining to stop, and start campaigning for change
